These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ZoneShift mobile application (the "Service") operated by Eagle Ridge Tech LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. The Service is designed for adult travelers who wish to manage jet lag through personalized sleep schedule adjustment plans.
ZoneShift generates personalized jet lag recovery plans based on circadian rhythm science. The Service uses rule-based algorithms to compute day-by-day sleep, light exposure, and supplement timing schedules, and uses AI technology to generate plain-language tips and advice. The Service is intended as a general wellness and travel planning tool, not as a medical device or medical service.
ZoneShift offers a free tier and three paid options:
Purchases and subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment is charged to your account at confirmation of purchase. Annual subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's account settings.
The free tier provides a limited jet lag recovery schedule (first 2 days of any plan), access to the full tips library, and basic trip setup. No account creation or payment is required for the free tier.
Paid plans may be regenerated at no additional cost if travel dates change by 3 days or fewer, flight times change, layovers are added or removed, or sleep/supplement settings are updated. If departure or destination cities change, or if dates shift by more than 3 days, a new purchase is required.

THE SERVICE IS A GENERAL WELLNESS AND TRAVEL PLANNING TOOL. IT IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE, MEDICAL SERVICE, OR SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ADVICE, DIAGNOSIS, OR TREATMENT.
Sleep schedule recommendations, light exposure guidance, melatonin timing, and supplement suggestions provided by the Service are based on general circadian rhythm research and are for informational purposes only. Individual results may vary. You should consult your healthcare provider before making significant changes to your sleep schedule, starting any supplement regimen, or if you have any medical conditions that may be affected by sleep schedule changes.
We are not responsible for any adverse health effects resulting from following the Service's recommendations. Supplement dosage information is provided for general reference only — always follow the specific guidance of your healthcare provider and the supplement manufacturer.
The Service uses AI technology (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to generate daily tips, trip strategy summaries, destination fun facts, and chat responses. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. AI recommendations should be considered alongside your own judgment and professional medical advice where appropriate.
You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service, including sleep profiles, trip details, and preferences. All data is stored locally on your device. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to generate your jet lag recovery plans and provide the Service's features. We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to providing the Service.
The Service, including its design, code, algorithms, rule engine, features, graphics, and content, is owned by Eagle Ridge Tech LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. The ZoneShift name, logo, and wordmark are trademarks of Eagle Ridge Tech LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
SCHEDULE CALCULATIONS, TIMEZONE CONVERSIONS, AND FLIGHT TIME ESTIMATES ARE PROVIDED FOR PLANNING PURPOSES AND MAY NOT BE PERFECTLY ACCURATE. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO VERIFY FLIGHT TIMES, ARRIVAL TIMES, AND TIMEZONE INFORMATION AGAINST YOUR ACTUAL TRAVEL ITINERARY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EAGLE RIDGE TECH LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF SLEEP, MISSED FLIGHTS, HEALTH EFFECTS, OR TRAVEL DISRUPTIONS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Eagle Ridge Tech LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Per-trip purchases and lifetime purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Utah County, Utah.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the app or Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
