Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 1, 2026

Eagle Ridge Tech LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the DugoutPulse mobile application and the website dugoutpulse.com (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials (via email/password sign-up, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In). We do not store your password directly — authentication is handled by our backend provider.

Game Data: The Service collects game-related data you voluntarily enter, including player names, team names, game scores, pitch counts, batting statistics, defensive statistics, and other gameplay information. This data is necessary to provide the core functionality of the Service.

Player Information: You may enter player names, birth month and year (used solely to determine age group for pitch limit rules), jersey numbers, and positions. This information is used exclusively within the Service to provide game tracking and reporting features. Player names may be visible to others when you use the live game sharing feature (see Section 5 below).

Information About Minors: DugoutPulse is used by coaches and parents to track youth baseball games. As a result, player information entered into the Service — including names and birth month/year — may relate to minors. Coaches and parents are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate authorization to enter player information into the Service. We minimize the personal data collected about players; for example, we collect only birth month and year (not full date of birth) to calculate age group for pitch limit rules.

Subscription Information: If you subscribe to DugoutPulse Pro (Coach Pro or Parent Pro), payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card details. We receive confirmation of your subscription status from RevenueCat, our subscription management partner.

Device Information: We may collect basic device information such as device type, operating system version, and app version for the purpose of troubleshooting and improving the Service.

Push Notification Tokens: If you enable push notifications (for pitch limit alerts or rest day reminders), we collect your device's push notification token. This token is used solely to deliver notifications you have opted into and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

3. Data Storage and Security

Free tier game data is stored locally on your device using encrypted local storage. Pro tier game data is synced to our cloud database hosted on Supabase, which uses industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

4. AI Features

DugoutPulse uses the Claude AI model by Anthropic to generate post-game pitcher and batting insights for Pro subscribers. Only anonymized game statistics (pitch counts, strike percentages, pitch type distributions, and similar aggregate data) are sent to the AI service. No personally identifiable information such as player names, email addresses, or birthdates is transmitted to the AI service.

5. Live Game Sharing

When a coach shares a live game link, the following information becomes accessible to anyone with the link: the game's current score, inning, pitch count, play-by-play information, and player first names with last initial only (e.g., "Steve Q."). Full last names are not displayed on the live view. No login is required to view a shared game. The shared link contains a unique game identifier that is not guessable. Coaches can stop sharing at any time by ending the game.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing its use of data.

7. Children's Privacy

DugoutPulse is designed for use by coaches, parents, grandparents, and other adults who track youth baseball games. The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Player names and birth month/year entered by adult users are used solely for game tracking and pitch limit calculations. Coaches and parents are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate authorization to enter player information, including names and birth month/year, into the Service. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information directly, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings screen in the app. When you delete your account, all associated data — including game history, player profiles, team rosters, and statistics — will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days. Local data on your device is deleted immediately upon account deletion.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the app and updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
